Dental Plan Coverages!
The dental program is designed to help these children with special needs, under the age of 18, receive the best dental care possible.
The disabilities covered by the program are:
1 - Cerebral Palsy
2 - Muscular Dystrophy (and related neuromuscular disorders),
3 - Mental Retardation (covers from profound to 2 years overall delayed. In some cases we may require documention by the child's school licensed psychologist or physician.)
4 - Dental Care for Organ Transplant recipients
Medicaid patients are not covered by the program. The Grotto dental program is the secondary carrier when insurance is involved and acts as the primary carrier if no insurance is available covering the maximum allowable fees our program covers.
